Bravo! Good on you mate. Hopefully, this will have an impact on some of those nasty columnists and ill-informed commentators.
Ahh, straw men eh Mr Goldberg. Build 'em up and knock 'em down!
Do we as Canadians pay more for data rates then in other countries or don't we? Nevermind the iPhone for a minute, that's a red herring.
Just answer the question. Do we pay more for data or don't we?
Hard to answer that when Ted's your biggest customer eh ?

Mark, I'd disagree and say Canada needs a very healthy dose of competition in the wireless market. Prices are still too high, mobile data speeds are too low, there are few options to switch operators, and innovative services are nonexistent. We just got number portability this year after every other country!
How can you disprove any of this?
Peladeau is right. While that positioning may lead him to cheaper spectrum, it will also bring in more competition to Bell, Rogers, Telus. Hopefully the government will do something to open up this closed market.
